Happy New Year MPDers!

Super excited to make my first post of 2017! Hope you are doing well this Tuesday. I made a quick set of greeting cards for a friend of mine whose vacation leave from the Army ended today. I’ve got some things in mind to send him once a month. Get crafty MPDers (Mwenprale Dorayley Readers 😉)!

Day 14 – I did something different this time around for #thedailymarker30day and built a background. Then I filled it in with a color pencil that makes it feel very smooth to the touch. I hope you get a chance to color today! Here are the deets:
Stamp: Papertrey Ink Tranquility Trilogy
Ink: old stamp pad by Superior in aqua
Colored Pencil: Rose Art Light Lavender
Paper: Georgia Pacific 100 lb cardstock

While cleaning up the studio earlier, I found this cute fox from @PapertreyInk that Heather Nichols designed. So cute! Here’s the deets:
Stamp: Papertrey Ink Hello Foxy

“Do something for 30 days and it becomes a habit.” Well I’m on my way, then! 😂 I noticed that I like to watercolor mainly because it’s quick, easy and not all that messy. As a crafter, I have to limit the mess I make since I don’t have a butler named Carson! Deets:
Stamp: Recollections Typewriter, Clear & Simple Stamps Rag Dolls Wesley: GR8
Ink: Ranger’s Archival Black, Papertrey Ink Hawaiian Shores
Kuretake Fine Point Water Pen
Paper: Georgia Pacific 100 lb Cardstock

Stamp: Papertrey Ink – What the Doodle: Feather
Ink: Ranger’s Archival Black
Markers: American Crafts Stamp Markets in Sunflower, Apricot, Wave, Rouge and Emerald

The Baby Shower Invites Continue

Well, I’m embarrassed. I left my little blog all by its lonesome! “No one puts baby in the corner!” Teehee. So here are the rest of the pictures from the invitations I made from the last post. Click on each picture to get a little bit more information. I mainly used the bootie and welcome dies from Papertrey Ink and cut files from Silhouette America with my Cameo.

If you are going to make the butterflies, which come as a free download with your Silhouette Cameo, I would suggest not cutting the butterflies from acetate. It was very difficult to vacuum all the plastic pieces out of the cameo. Next time, I’ll purchase a coordinating die.

It’s March, already?!?

Hello,

I am so happy to be posting today and I have lots to share over the next several days. I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get my projects up to par! Here’s a little something before I leave:

A friend of my nephew’s was having a little girl after losing the first one in a car accident.  Needless to say, she was super stoked about the package I sent her. Come back tomorrow as I share more pics from this session!
